Wanna go somewhere tropical in February?
From the beginning, I have always aspired for Camp Iowa to be more than just a resource for people who camp in Iowa. I want it to be a community of people who share a common interest - camping.
In addition to being the single best resource for campground information in the state of Iowa, I have two additional goals for Camp Iowa. The first is to bring members of our community together on an annual basis (tropical vacation in the February - March timeframe) to make new friends and share stories about our camping experiences in Iowa. I would also like to use this annual gathering as an opportunity for us to learn, hopefully in advance of any postings or publications, about upcoming improvements, etc. to Iowa's campgrounds. The second goal I have for Camp Iowa is to identify and support a charitable cause.
The first step in getting goal #2 off the ground is to see if there is any interest other than my own. If you're not interested, you need not complete the survey. If you are interested, please answer the following five questions so I will know how to proceed.
NOTE: We will need to have a group of at least 100 to make this work. Hey!, it's a tropical vacation during the winter where you get to hang out with a bunch of people who love to camp. Who wouldn't want to do that?
